Formpipe.GxP brings expanded solutions range to eDM 2014

Stockholm, Sweden: – Formpipe.GxP, leading provider of specialized IT solutions for life sciences, will be taking part in the debate about standardization of systems and electronic documents at the upcoming 15th DIA Electronic Document Management (eDM) Conference in Berlin.

The event provides a platform for the company to show a total product range that has been enlarged by the Swedish based Formpipe with its recent acquisition of SharePoint solutions provider GXPi in the UK.

“We have been participants at several DIA events over the past few years and look forward to taking part in the debate at the 2015 eDM conference,” said Formpipe’s Business Development Director, Jonas Rydin.

“Documents standards are a vital and enduring topic for our industry,” he commented.

Platina and SharePoint offers

Formpipe.GxP will be an exhibitor at the event. The combined Formpipe.GxP team at Booth 4 at Berlin’s Maritim Hotel will be able to show visitors a full presentation of its renowned electronic quality management system Platina QMS; web-based software that enables easy creation, management, tracking and control of a range of standards-compliant quality related information, documents, events, records, tasks and processes.

The team will also be demonstrating GXPi’s quality management system based on X-docs™, that is fully compliant with many international standards. More than 300 clients worldwide, including many leading names in the Life Science sectors, use GXPi’s SharePoint-based products; X-docs, X-train and X-forms.

“We aim to promote awareness of our the even better solutions for both small and big companies within the Life Science industry that we are able to offer as the result of joining forces,” said Mr. Rydin.

“Since acquiring GXPi this summer, we can now address smaller companies with SharePoint solutions as well as big companies with our enterprise-scale Platina QMS. We can also help companies with our consultancy services,” he added.

About eDM 2015

The two day 15th DIA Conference on European Electronic Document Management (eDM) will take place at Maritim Hotel in Berlin, opening on December 2, 2014.

The 2014 eDM conference will focus on the theme “Standardization – Blessing or Curse?” to examine the extent to which harmonization of standards is key to the success of adoption of new techniques and processes.
Sessions will concentrate on global document management formats and standards, interchange media, industry-to-agency transfer, and transfers between CROs and sponsors and between various applications within a company, such as, SAP, eDMS, eTMF, eSubmission, RIM, LIMS, SPL, electronic health records, electronic data capture and electronic forms.

The conference will be co-chaired by Hans van Bruggen, Senior Regulatory Affairs Consultant, from Netherlands-based eCTD consultancy and Karen Roy, Chief Business Development Officer at Phlexglobal Ltd, UK.

The eDM Berlin event is organised by the European arm of the Drug Information Association (DIA), based n Basel, Switzerland, whose mission is to facilitate communications and foster cooperation among professionals working in health care industries primarily engaged in drug development, medical communications and health information.
