Dividella puts its Stars on show at INTERPHEX 2014

Grabs, Switzerland: –Parenteral packaging specialist Dividella will feature its AmeriStar and WorldStar-winning ultra compact syringe carton at this month’s INTERPHEX International Pharmaceutical Expo in New York.

The NeoTOP 804 topload cartoner was the power behind the 10-count flu vaccine prefilled syringe carton, co-designed with Sanofi Pasteur that was judged a winner of a WorldStar Medical & Pharmaceutical award in Barcelona in November 2013, following its previous triumph at the AmeriStar awards in April. The ultra-compact solution features a top-load carton made from 100% recyclable paperboard, eliminating pre-made plastics, saving Sanofi Pasteurmore than $1m annually. Additionally, halving pack volume has led to corresponding savings in cold-chain shipping and storage costs, while the NeoTOP 804 has quadrupled output to 80 cartons per minute /800 syringes per minute, doubling Overall Equipment Effectiveness to more than 70 per cent.

The 10-count carton has also been shortlisted for the WorldStar Sustainability Award. Dividella is waiting on the formal Awards Ceremony at Interpack in Düsseldorf on May 13th to find out whether it has won a gold, silver or bronze award.

Dividella’s stand at INTERPHEX (Booth 3007) will also showcase its vial and autoinjector packages used by the world’s top ten biopharma companies, as well as video demos of the NeoTOP machines in action.

Dividella will also join Medipak Systems Group sister company Seidenader as part of thenew IPS Inspection & Packaging Technologies Tour at INTERPHEX. Seidenader will feature their new CS system designed for inspection of liquid and lyophilized parenterals at speeds up to 24,000 containers per hour, making automated inspection affordable for smaller production lines.
