CurTec brings new products and insights to CPhI Paris

Rijen, Netherlands: – CurTec International, the specialty manufacturer of high-performance plastic containers for the pharma and chemicals industries, will return to the landmark CPhI Worldwide exhibition in Paris with compelling new products and insights.

The CurTec team has prepared a presentation on the risks of fiber storage drums and a demonstration of how plastic drums and containers provide superior alternatives.

CurTec will also present case studies of how added-value bulk tablet containers have provided business advantages for leading manufacturers such as for Merck, Synthon and Patheon.

Volume growth

In the mid-1990s, MSD started using CurTec plastic drums. Over the intervening two decades, more and more pharmaceutical companies have chosen CurTec containers for bulk packaging of tablets. Currently CurTec provides more than one million drums annually to the industry.

The CurTec stand (Booth 5R23) at Paris Nord Villepinte will provide reasons for the growth of the business and showcase new products, including large format 75 and 115 litre (20 and 30 gallon) nestable drums. CurTec will also be presenting the new HDPE Packo range of small volume containers with screw lid closure, designed for pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals and food ingredients. Packo containers protect against moisture, tampering and contamination, are sustainable reusable and UN certified (1H2) for solids.
